Canon's normal three-hour-long nap was actually a one-hour-and-forty-five-minute nap today. This only reassures what I had previously suspected - Operation No Beans was, in fact, intentional and worse . . . I got dooped!
So, what do you do in nearly 100 degree weather with a fifteen month old who thinks all forms of fun occur outdoors? Even I know that. You buy a tacky blow-up kiddie pool and put it in your front yard for all to see.
I am proud to say that I succumbed to our current economic crisis and did not buy the automatic blower. That's right. That pool is full of my very own hot air! This would explain the somewhat tilted tree branches.
Canon's favorite thing to do was to climb in and out of the pool, tracking a whole lot of grass clippings and dirt with him.
Bull also joined in the fun. I can't imagine how hot life is for that overweight, hairy monger these days!
I don't think this particular activity did much to discourage any future anti-vegetable escapades.
